This year, our team is participating in the 2025 ALS Canada Pull to End ALS. Our team has taken up the challenge of pulling a 42,000-lb transport truck for 100 meters to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the ALS community.  

We will be pulling for hope on behalf of the people who need our strength and support the most.  

Competing to pull this truck may sound difficult, but it’s nothing compared to the weight that 4,000 Canadians and their families carry with them every day living with ALS. ALS is a devastating disease that causes progressive paralysis and has no cure.    

Your support will help to: 

• Further scientific progress by investing in the national ALS Canada Research Program, which funds the most promising ALS research. This program provides peer-reviewed grants to researchers whose work has the greatest potential to advance the field of ALS. There’s been more progress made in ALS research in the last five years than over the last century – we need to keep building on this momentum. 
• Create a better day-to-day reality for people and families living with ALS by providing community-based support throughout Ontario – such as home visits and support groups – as well as necessary medical equipment, including hospital beds, wheelchairs, stairlifts, and other items that increase safety in the home, at no cost to the people who need them.
